I Feel It Getting Closer
I feel it getting closer still I feel it in my bones- When it's getting closer still For this stuff to cover homes- But this year I have my thermals Not getting caught short any more- Will not be long to go at all This stuff will be right at my door- I love to see it through a window Or when the sun is shining bright- But not when the cold wind is blowing In the middle of the night- I have a nice warm open fire side Planned for all there is to come- I feel it is getting closer still We will see it and then some- It cannot be too far away I feel it in my bones- When this stuff will fall again And cover all these homes- This year not at all to worry I am ready it is so- Bring it on , see if I care I feel it's getting closer though- Terrence Michael Sutton copyright 2008 Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
