When disappointment hits, you feel low,
And you just can`t make that feeling go,
You`ve planned and set the wheels in motion
You did it with love and devotion.
Then along comes the spanner in the works,
It upsets everything and it irks,
Life just seems to be so ill-fated
Never letting our wishes be sated.
There is always tomorrow some may say
But who can say those plans won`t go astray,
That spanner still lurks in the background
Ready to dash your hopes into the ground.
So `disappointment rules` or so it seems
Once again you have to rebuild your dreams,
Do you take a chance! What can I say?
Except, just hang on in there come what may.
