November
November dark, gray, melancholy skies
Barren trees, leaves fallen on slumbering ground
Silent dismal cries
Sad lingering feelings found
Stormy angry winds blow
Deep inside sullen thoughts hide
What goes on, no one really knows
Emotions up and down like a roller coaster ride
Darkness robs the day of light
Harsh bitter cold
Reaching for covers at night
Blankets and blankets too many to fold
Just can't explain
Horrible sinking feelings
Hurts so bad, so much pain
What's happening layers and layers peeling
Winter boredom blues
Creeps up on some
Call it whatever you choose
But then come
Earth awakening Spring
A new birth steals all fears
Brightness and hope the season brings
Like magic, happiness appears
