I received a cute email today
It touched me in a special way
As I describe its picture to you
Will you be affected by it too?
A little boy is kneeling by his bed
With eyes closed, he bows his head
The dog up on paws in same position
Eyes closed shut, as if in submission
How the dog learned this is not known
But one thing I believe is clearly shown
The dog followed the boy everywhere
Many times seeing him knelt in prayer
There are parallel lessons for you and me
How are we an example for others to see?
God may be calling us to more time in prayer
