Mom did not die
She was taken to heaven early
She earned the trip
by the way she lived
Did she suffer pain?
Abused this beautiful woman
She was freed of her pain
Cancer and death
She said to me on her dying day,
"Danny, wipe away your tears.
Jesus is with me I feel not your pain
I kissed her on the cheek and she left
I was in the hospital the day Mom died. The pain the Cancer
she could not hide. Suddenly there was a warmth overtaking
the room. I felt the peace and serenity no gloom. She called me to
her bedside said to me, "Jesus has come to take me."
From my pain he has set me free." I didn't cry the day she
died. I couldn't if I tried. For I knew where she was going
The ground was covered it was snowing. A better place she be
than I. I look up see an Angel in the sky. She gave me my
answers and no need to ask why? Shes a helper sitting on God's
side. For he takes early those whose love is not denied.
