As It Was...

AS IT WAS ...

"Remember the former things of old, for I am God,
and there is no other;
I am God, and there is none like Me."--- Isaiah 46:9

As it was ...so shall it be again
For all mankind will worship Him
His word is not to bring you low
It is for guidance that you would know

He is the Creator of heaven and earth
His love is to establish mankind's rebirth
For satan came to rob you of life
But God's love helps you through all pain and strife

Oh how He grieves to see the rebellion
He longs to correct what the world's been telling
You're His creation and His plan is so good
He's waiting to comfort you if only He could

Yet many remain in their old walk and ways
Not longing for the renewing that His word displays
He warned us of how the enemy wants to destroy
God wants to shelter you by His word to employ

Many false prophets will arise to teach you wrong
Used by the enemy to corrupt God's word all along
Look how He deceived both Adam and Eve
Yet we can have life if on His Son we believe

This life is not short nor does it cause lasting pain
It's eternal life for your soul to gain
God gave His only begotten Son to redeem us
All you have to do is call on the name of Jesus

The devil is a liar and he wants to destroy,rob and kill
God is love and He wants His purpose to be fulfilled
If you want your life to be rewarding and renewed
Just call on Jesus and He will love and protect you

If we would stop and think of all God gives
When His guidance we choose to walk in and live
His peace surpasses all that this world has to offer
Won't you except the gift given from your heavenly Father

Those that grieve the Holy Spirit do not see
How very blessed that He even has beckon unto thee
For it is He that puts that tug in your heart
There are some He chose not from the start

For the day will come that every knee shall bow
Why not except Him if He beckons you and be in His Will now
For at the end those that rebelled and refused His love
Will be cast down into the lake of fire with
eternal darkness forever seperated from their Father above

He desires none that He calls to be cast away
But it takes you giving your will to Him today
For He doesn't force any to come unto Him
He's a gentlemen that gives this choice unto men

John 3:1-21
1 There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus,

a ruler of the Jews:

2 The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him,

Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God:

for no man can do these miracles that thou doest,

except God be with him.

3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily,

I say unto thee, Except a man be born again,

he cannot see the kingdom of God.

4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born

when he is old? can he enter the second time into

his mother's womb, and be born?

5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee,

Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit,

he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh;

and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest

the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh,

and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

9 Nicodemus answered and said unto him,

How can these things be?

10 Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel,

and knowest not these things?

11 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know,

and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness.

12 If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not,

how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?

13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven,

but he that came down from heaven,

even the Son of man which is in heaven.

14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness,

even so must the Son of man be lifted up:

15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish,

but have eternal life.

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son,

that whosoever believeth in him should not perish,

but have everlasting life.

17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world;

but that the world through him might be saved.

18 He that believeth on him is not condemned:

but he that believeth not is condemned already,

because he hath not believed in the name of the

only begotten Son of God.

19 And this is the condemnation,

that light is come into the world,

and men loved darkness rather than light,

because their deeds were evil.

20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light,

neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light,

that his deeds may be made manifest,

that they are wrought in God.

Heb.11:1

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for,

the evidence of things not seen.

Rom.8: 24-39

24 For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope:

for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?

25 But if we hope for that we see not,

then do we with patience wait for it.

26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities:

for we know not what we should pray for as we ought:

but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us

with groanings which cannot be uttered.

27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth

what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession

for the saints according to the will of God.

28 And we know that all things work together for good

to them that love God, to them who are the

called according to his purpose.

29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate

to be conformed to the image of his Son,

that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called:

and whom he called, them he also justified:

and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

31 What shall we then say to these things?

If God be for us, who can be against us?

32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all,

how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?

33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect?

It is God that justifieth.

34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather,

that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God,

who also maketh intercession for us.

35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?

shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine,

or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long;

we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.

37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors

through him that loved us.

38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels,

nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present,

nor things to come,

39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature,

shall be able to separate us from the love of God,

which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
