SUN THROUGH LEAVES

It seems a million miles away
It seems that I am crazy
It seems the poetry of this day
Clears up what has been hazy

To write away what comes to mind
To verbalize the thoughts
To search your soul until you find
The way to connect the dots

That are scattered
That are black
That are shattered
That are lacked

When life is questioned
When love is all
When the soul questions
When the leaves fall.
