Old school was he who gave his best
The job he loved would press and test
Father, husband, brother in blue
Another Knight bids us adieu
He loved the job where gratitude
Fell short along with attitudes
But press he did to serve mankind
Where life he laid, one of a kind
Tim was this and so much more
A cop and father, a man who swore
To be forthright with shield assigned
Uphold the law and justice blind
The job became a part of Tim
Embodied in spirit that grew within
Tim whose name GOD called to come
Welcome Simpson, to my Kingdom
The force will miss the man they knew
But in GODS hands are those God drew
From Earth to Heaven, where he is bound
Where angels tailored, Tim's new white gown
In memory of Philadelphia Police Sergeant Timothy Simpson
