Now that you are, "the Man" will
Sycamore trees bare less strange fruit
Throughout this land?
Will prison doors swing open
Wide to free those who have been
Wrongfully placed inside?
Will the laws become much
Sterner and I end up like Nat Turner...
With "Hope" dying at the end of a rope?
Will my future be like my past?
How long will it last for me,
This second class citizenry,
ameriKKKan life without liberty?
Where Shahaadatain is perceived as an obscenity?
Will constitutional law be
Carried out to the letter?
Under your administration, will
Things become better?
Now, that you are "The Man"
Can you be a brother to a brother?
