Preaching the Gospel
I was not sent to baptize,
Rather to preach the Good News;
To neither judge nor chastise,
Just as to what you should choose.
Words that are not of wisdom,
For fear that the cross of Christ;
Holds no worth for His Kingdom,
Voids why He was sacrificed.
Because the word of the cross,
May seem just foolish to those;
That misunderstands the loss,
And what believing bestows.
But the real foolish are them,
That are going their own way;
Not aware Christ will condemn,
Since they are going astray.
For us to honor and laud,
Of Christ and His salvation;
It is the power of God,
That gives us jubilation.
