Wise Up
Attend to my word,
Incline to your ear;
Just be not angered,
By what you will hear.
Keep them in your eyes,
Deep within your heart;
They will make you wise,
If they not depart.
For they give you life,
As they give you strength;
To combat the strife,
No matter the length.
Keep watch on your tongue,
Evil words that stray;
Off the tip are flung,
Your lips will decay.
God is watching you,
Turning left or right;
All you say and do,
Is within His sight.
