The Love of Katsuhiro & Shino (From Kurosawa's 1954 film"Seven Samurai ")
Katsuhiro was the youngest of the seven samurai
He took a walk into the shrouded Japanese forest
Snapped off a small flowering branch from a cherry blossom tree
and laid down alone under the new melody sky
Shino swiftly appeared
Asymmetrical, a wide-eyed target for his bull's eye
and they laid down together under the new melody sky
If Shino had his seed she would of sown it
Memories later she waded barefoot working in the rice fields
Katsuhiro stood and watched her from afar
Installed the sun in her eyes when he left
Listened to her sing while she planted seeds that did grow
and they laid down together under the new melody sky.
Seven Samurai is one of the top ten films ever made. The late Japanese actor, Ko Kimura played Katsuhiro and Keiko Tsushima played Shino.
