Plea to Backsliders
This I say unto you,
Give witness in the Lord;
Begin living anew,
Being of one accord.
Your thoughts become dark,
As you stray from the path;
When end time will embark,
And you will feel the wrath.
The life of God is strange,
Since you have no knowledge;
Because of wanting change,
But without the courage.
No more power to feel,
For the evil passions;
Having controlled your zeal,
While your heart hardens.
This was not taught by Christ,
Nor to you was given;
In being sacrificed,
For your place in Heaven.
So the choice will be yours,
Which way you desire;
Either heavenly shores,
Or the lake of fire.
