Poems From A Montana Rancher

Double Ought Farmer

Photobucket

I'm a 00 farmer and I'm licensed to till
If I need to break ground you know I will

I have a John Deere Tractor and a chisel plow
If the soil needs turning I sure know how

If the soil is right and the weeds need control
I'll spray with precision, let my spray coupe roll

I do what is needed and I do it on time
I'm a dry land farmer and this life is fine.

Ought is defined as, have to, should or must, by my computer Thesaurus  I chuckle as I think about how well this fits my way of life.
