Are We But Children Upon EarthAre we but children upon earth Thinking often that we know it all- That if we don't than it don't exist Having answers for every question to fall- There are those in reality that have seen In all of sanity and all of actual sight- Those that we have lost reappear to us In some shape or form within the day or night- A glimpse , a vision , call it what you may There in reality must be things we don't know- That somewhere for a length of their now time Where our lost loved ones they all go- Regardless if we've seen or not in this life Many have and in all reality- Loved ones appear, explained away by experts As if they only know , to or not agree- Not admitting we do not know it all Is total ignorance of earthly souls it's true- He has written our spirits shall live forever more And yet we profess to know it all as we do- We on earth feel if we do not know of anything It simply cannot be in any way- Finding it hard to admit there are things above Our comprehension upon any night and day- I have seen with open eyes right in front of me And others they saw what I saw too- Someone that I knew as well as any upon earth Turn up and look at me in full vision true- But here upon earth with all our worth There's an ignorance that will always be- We as humans mostly all feel it's so That if we cannot explain it,it simply cannot be- Terrence Michael Sutton copyright 2008 ( Read my poem ..
