In Memory Of My DadHe Stopped Loving Her Today (In memory of my Dad) He stopped loving her today This was my fathers life~ The story was the same right through My mother was his wife~ Now all these years later on From a small boy I watched him die inside~ He kept his vows every single one And broken hearted died with pride~ No one but myself chooses to remember How he suffered but always carried on~ And though an older man now myself I'm doing fine Right up until again I hear this song~ I told him I'd find what he never did alive Simply true love and peace of mind~ I said to him last I'll find it for you dad I can still see his sincere smile so kind~ I've lived my life searching for unconditional true love One who adores myself as I did her as well~ In every single old fashioned way And soon we'll ring that wedding bell~ I've broken the spell,my hearts now safe and free I cannot die anymore as my dad left this earth~ I am so inlove with one who's inlove with me Happy now until I take my last breath on earth earth~ But every time I hear that song I feel again his suffering and pain~ My dad a saint,A man right to the end He gave only sunshine to all and received rain~ I've found it dad peace of mind and true love No money on earth could buy it true~ I live my life with all your values intact You being my dad it lives on all thanks to you~ I learned never to drop ones search in life For what really matters to you more all along ~ But now all I've found in one little old fashioned English girl Has me being able to listen now to that that song~ LOVE YA MATE ......
