 Closure
Pardon me, and forgive the interruption
But I'm tired of living this life of destruction
You see I used to be a warm ray of sun
Then too many times stared down a gun

You spirited me away, with your lies and your love
Left me broken and battered, a wounded dove
So if you're finished with me, say you're done
Give me back to me, I deserve some fun

I'd like my heart back, my soul, and my life
Let me find someone to make me his wife
I hear echoes of laughter with traces of tears
And I remember the hopes now shadowed with fears

You used to hold me captive with your charming smile
And I'd have followed you anywhere mile after mile
Please don't forget I was a warm ray of sun
But now I'm lost, and alone, just me and my gun

Curled up in a corner, so sick of crying
Pulling my hair out exhausted by trying
I want back the girl who never got down
And walk down the aisle in my new gown

Make me complete, I need to be whole
To be fulfilled again, yes, that is my goal
Ridding myself of your hateful infection
The time is here for my resurrection
