"like liquid"
in shadowed breath, like liquid,
she falls onto the silver mirror.
chained scarves attach themselves
as the mirror claims her.
he seizes her reflection,
to fasten to the chattering walls
to silence them with her bejewelled
beauty. tender flesh, in doing his
bidding, becomes priceless, radiant,
exquisite music that is played for
his whip, his wolf and his uniform.
