"Giving Thanks"

A vision of beauty in Nature
In the eyes of the beholder
A rose is more than just a rose
When you reach out to hold her

When a single seed is planted
With time and care you'll come to know
A vibrant flower may blossom
And a friendship allowed to grow

The feathered wings of an Angel
Spread out far and wide
Material possessions really don't matter
Only the quality of life inside

Her heart emits benevolence
Unconditionally giving without fear
When I see the entire picture unfold
I realize her love is pure and ever clear

She brings tears to my eyes
And a happy smile within my soul
Always doing the unexpected
She is naturally beautiful in whole

Blessed and oh so thankful
A special bond grew
I asked God for an Angel
And He sent me you
