Wedded Bliss
Today marks thirty-two years of wedded bliss,
Lean into me and receive a tender kiss.
Over these many years the days pass so fast,
The time we've spent together has been a blast.
I remember that day long ago when I said “I do”.
My life now has meaning by sharing it with you.
The Bible says the two have now become one flesh,
I can understand this message as our souls do mesh.
Tomorrow the unknown future knocks at our door,
But I know that together we reach out and explore.
We are unified; brought together with a big bang;
You can hear all the times our hearts sang.
I wish to tell you that my love has grown stronger,
My heart calls out to you to stay with me longer.
This world was made to share with you, my beautiful wife,
Destined to be partners throughout in this wonderful life.
