 Seldom heard voices
Seldom heard voices are all around
The loudest of any sound
Smothered by lies
And family ties
Only listened to when one dies

Seldom heard voices are silent sometimes
Governed by threats and organised crimes
Who shot him
“didn't see a thing”
Seldom heard voices in the coffin

Seldom heard voices on the street
Homeless and starving, a need to eat
But money goes on drugs and beer
Can't feed their habit out of fear
And as for the rent boy? He's just a queer!

Seldom heard voices from the young too the old
Are always the stories which are never told
But the thing about seldom heard voices
Is that they are often our choices
Because when we listen, the world rejoices.
