Merry ChristmasLight snow is falling on the ground There's a cold winter chill And not a creature makes a sound The forest seems so still I take a sip from my eggnog And think back to the year The desert that the Wise men trod They came from far and near They looked upon the baby boy That very Christmas day Today we think of all the toys The fun times while we play It's not about the gifts we get Or even what we give This baby boy we can't forget He came to then forgive So with the tinsel and the snow And all the Christmas lights I stand here under mistletoe I'm singing Silent Night The ornaments sway on the tree I hear the Angels sing Rejoicing on this Christmas Eve The joy our Savior brings So from my heart I thank the Lord For the baby Jesus To all my friends across the world I wish you Merry Christmas Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
