Rising Above The Lows Of LoveThey've told of all those romantic love tales In history down through all those years- Back in all of those sensual oldest times With all the heartaches and the tears- Of all those fantastic seductive love lives Even within the movies they set the scene- Documentaries of love so grand sea and land Affairs ever secretive and charismatically supreme- So many desperately wanting love as they once had In those love me always until you die old days- In reality all that is needed is but two things Two souls who love each other in every single way- Then it can be as good if not better still As good as then even in this day and age- Just two being together as one completely Love and loving as then is still the rage~ Being inlove as any ever were in time Loving as much and as deeply ever so- With loving ongoing open communication Two can have the romance once all did know- But as well it takes a few other things Like always going out of ones way- To make sure that the one you love so dearly Knows within that you love them every day- It takes trust and it takes loving devotion It takes work on both sides too- Both being dedicated to one another endlessly And not letting others have a say but you- Both being the reason the other lives Always putting each other always first- The world may be but in all reality You are each others greatest thirst- Just the same as away back then ever was Two souls today or way back in the past~ Loving each other in every single possible way With a real true love that will always last~ Even back in all those romantic times Life was never as wonderful as they tell- Times were harder in ever so many ways Not always the love stories they sell- But the basics are and always were Two souls intimately inlove in every single way- Being able to rise above the lows of love Being each others soul mate forever and a day- Terrence Michael Sutton Copyright 2007 Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
