For each soul that fights against his destiny;
For each broken hearted child not loved by their parents;
For each cry in the night from the pain of disease;
Each evokes the tears of God
For each premature death brought on by poverty or ignorance;
For each homeless person turned away by our society;
For each hungry creature across the face of this earth;
Each evokes the tears of God.
For each child's prayer for their alcoholic dad's life;
For each atom of pollution spoiling His creation;
For each domestic dispute tearing families further apart;
Each evokes the tears of God.
For each church that closes its doors in some searchers face;
For each word of gossip that destroys the reputation of one of His;
For each self righteous soul without need of transformation;
Each evokes the tears of God.
For each soul that turns onto his own path to find his way;
For the rebellious and the angry at their lot in this life;
For the criminals, the takers, the abusers, and the perverted;
Each evokes the tears of God.
