Days are now long and wintry cold
As we dream of our `sunny days` of old,
When we were young enjoying life
Casting out doubt that ends all strife.
Walking through the park on a sunny day
Hearing all the merry children at play,
Birds singing sweetly in tall trees above
Brings back memories of our days of love.
Life has now overturned a great wise tide
Gathering knowledge found far and wide,
As we travel along life's long highway
Remembering young years of yesterday.
So come sit by the fire and let us dream
As our days together floats down stream
Soon to meet new tides of ocean's high
As our souls together greets God's blue sky.
