Moral Virtue Observations
Designs of the heart are of man,
Rather than God within His plan;
But from the tongue is of the Lord,
In which should never be ignored.
So the ways of man look so clean,
To himself of deeds that has been;
Because it reflects from the heart,
What man always tries to impart.
But the Lord always checks the scales,
Weighs the soul for sin that impales;
Stabbing moral virtues to die,
Causing someone to cheat and lie.
All whose heart that is filled with pride,
Disgusts the Lord from what they hide;
Certainly they will not be free,
From the punishment that will be.
For pride is corrupting the sin,
Like a fungus that grows within;
Or a cancer causing to fray,
Moral virtues as they decay.
Put yourself in the hands of God,
So He can repair what is flawed;
Then allow Him to guide your steps,
Guarding from sin that intercepts.
