Growing Love

Lovers beneath the moonlight Pictures, Images and Photos

Growing Love

I planted our love
A long time ago
Little did I know then
That it would not be easy
I had to pull weeds
Cultivate it
Tried all I could to make it strong
I watered it
I fed it
Often times too much
I tried to keep it in the sunshine
Some days it looked like it was withering
I always did whatever I could to keep our love alive
Some days I smiled
Some nights I cried
At times it was a very tough job trying to grow
Our love
It has been through storms
And many tribulations
Somehow, it always weathered the storms
Your love is planted
Deep in my heart
As my love is planted in yours
Our love has blossomed
And even to this day
Our love keeps growing

The love that asks no question, the love that stands the test
That lays upon the altar the dearest and the best;
The love that never falters, the love that pays the price
The love that makes undaunted the final sacrifice.
– Sir Cecil Spring-Rice

The strongest love is the love that can demonstrate its fragility.

Paulo Coelho

Love is the cause of unity in all things.

- Aristotle -

Love is what carries you, for it is always there, even in the dark, or most in the dark, but shining out at times like gold stitches in a piece of embroidery.

- Wendell Berry -
