From the Heart Through the Pen

Tale of True Beauty

Beauty so angelic
The twinkle in her eyes
Showed what her soul reflected
Her love's on the prowl
And just when I thought
I threw in the towel
She announced I would continue to fight

She told me she would be worth it
I told her she knew not my plight
She said if I gave her all my might
And she gave me hers
That I just might create a plight for us
That whatever had me locked up
She'd set out of its cage

She told me a number that was her age
Told me that she would set my heart ablaze
If I were lost in
She could lead me out of a maze
And to my life she'd add grace
She then showed me her wings
Confirming that she was an angel

I told her I was a ways from Heaven
When JE walked out
I was right behind them
Straight down the path to hell
Cause of Karma's Spell
Her lips I loved though Karma failed to tell
She was a fruit that was forbidden

Beauty told me I could be forgiven
And I disbelieved I could trust another set
She said the key was also to forget
Yet I could not repeat my past
I told her my faith I would restore
She said in doing this I would get more
Happiness in my present will forever last

I wanted to focus on my future
But could only control the now
Beauty revealing to me the truth
And from this day forth this became how
She received her name
And our hearts joined in unity
Here lies the Tale of True Beauty
