CANDY CANE
Away In A Manger - Toby Keith
Thank you elleng4044 and photobucket
They wanted a reminder of the Baby Jesus Birth
Leaders of their land said; "Christians have no worth!"
They tried to symbolize Him, at last they found a way
All who knew and loved the Lord could now see the J
The red that wrapped around each one for the blood He shed
The pure white for the purity of the perfect life He led
The J now called a candy cane with a ribbon red and green
This symbol of His gift and life, for all so plainly seen
The evil leaders think them cute to them these are OK
Christians have this symbol to remember CHRISTmas day
Seasons Greetings is the norm instead of Merry Christmas
We have the joy of knowing, His love will never miss us

They can try to take Jesus out of our land
but they can't take away His love for man
