I saw Three Ships a Whaling
I saw three ships a whaling, a whaling
On Christmas day, on Christmas day
I saw three ships a slaying
On Christmas Day in the morning

I saw three ships with a harpoon
On Christmas day, on Christmas Day
I saw three ships under the moon
On Christmas Day in the Morning

One Ship was called the Virgin Mary
On Christmas day, on Christmas day
The others were called Jim and Carey
On Christmas Day in the morning

Sailing oceans looking for Whales
On Christmas day, On Christmas day
Fishing and cutting up their entrails
On Christmas day in the Morning

The sailors prayed for good weather
On Christmas day, On Christmas day
The Captain of these ships were clever
On Christmas Day in the Morning

They past the shipwreck of Bethlehem
On Christmas Day, on Christmas day
They were seafairing men
On Christmas Day in the Morning

They sailed into the Atlantic Ocean
On Christmas day, On Christmas day
They had blank expressions with no emotion
On Christmas day in the Morning

Wanting to see how many they could get
On Christmas day, on Christmas day
They caught lots of Whales in their net
On Christmas day in the Morning

They killed too many, it was a frenzy
On Christmas Day on Christmas day
They broke the golden rule of the sea
On Christmas day in the Morning

They were guided by the Star
On Christmas Day, on Christmas day
But didn't see the rocks afar
On Christmas day in the Morning

What gets killed, also dies
On Christmas Day, on Christmas day
As their ships sank, who heard their cries?
On Christmas day in the Morning ……..
