Change The World.

If I could help change the world,
I'd change everyone's view on pain,
I'd somehow make them understand,
To appreciate the sun we need the rain.

If I could help change the world,
I'd make it harder for people to hate,
I'd help people to be more forgiving,
'Coz for no man does time wait.

If I could change another thing,
It would be the power of hard cash,
People are too materialistic,
Love is the best thing to give and have.

If I could help change the world,
I'd take the battery out of time,
So everyone would get their chance,
And for this verse I could find a rhyme.

But I am only one single person,
And have no more power than the rest,
Everyone could help change the world,
If they weren't all so politically correct.

Vicki Wroe, 18. (C)
