Of Those Alone
The season brings much to dismay
Depressed, lonely feelings that stay
For years it seems to those who lost
Loved ones in mind priceless the cost
Keep watch, stay close to those you see
Alone, quiet, not by the tree
That keeps a heart accompanied
Deprived of love, no lock and key
This time of year where joy flies South
To them I wish to turn, cry out
To CHRIST who heals what pains your soul
For he can change your life gone cold
Joy is He, the word in flesh
Who came to save, the very best
You who seeks refuge, distressed
In Him, the answer, don't second guess
Of those alone we write today
Give GOD a chance to show the way
You need to go, to live again
Reborn through Him, master who mends
