Silently Falls (snow poem)

Snowflakes still falling Pictures, Images and Photos

Snow softly falls
Silently it lands
On frozen solid ground
Surrounds all around
Not a single, solitary sound
No two flakes alike
Each falls in its own direction
Like quiet dancing angels
Coming from the sky
Bringing peace
Clean pure whiteness
Covers and blankets the earth
Fields, hills, snow-capped mountains
Frozen glazed ice like glass
Rivers, oceans, streams, lakes
Falling snow flakes
Tall trees standing bare
Waiting with out stretched arms
Eager to embrace
The gentle falling snow
Pine trees graciously wearing
White winter top coats
Snow covered pine cones hanging
Looking out my window
This snowy Sunday morning
Wrapped in peace
The first day of winter
Snow silently falling
Beholding nature's splendid beauty
A white landscape, a tranquil winter scene
