MERRY CHRISTMAS--HUMBUG!

For those wishing for a White Christmas--it is!
Off to Grandma's house we will be going?
This year there might not be any Mistletoeing;
Cause no one is coming if it continues snowing
The weather outside is deli--downright frightful.
Watching neighbors slide down the hill a sightful
Turkey in the oven roasting away--and ham you say?
Hey, we will be eating leftovers until May
Everyone is calling not snowed but iced in
Climbing hills in the Northwest you cannot win
The hills are alive--with stranded trucks
Christmas won't be expensive saving a few bucks
Under the tree are many--I couldn't get out
The things they asked for--hope they don't pout
My back is sore from shoveling snow two days
It is snowing, back, me and the shovel are parting ways
First time the widow lady stuck on the hill we helped her
Today she is sliding backwards it is stupidity for sure
