There stands a delusioned man in the rain
Looking back on his life with much regret
He fights the invisible dragons of his past
Dreams and aspirations now lost forever more
He always regress back to his younger years
When the power of his youth reigned strong
The taste of domination was ever on his lips
Reducing his large family of nine to tears
His wife remained always meek by his side
Voiceless she lived beneath his iron rule
Too tired of birthing kids year after year
Her life was governed by his strong pride
At this point in time he is conquered by Age
Which eventually makes captives of us all
He's become dependent on his youthful kin
Who do not understand his confused thoughts
He is caged within the prison of his mind
Praying that he may return to the days of old
But too late comes the lost dreams he entertain
Which holds him back and makes his anger rage
In a strange Nursing Home he suffers in regret
Christmas Day finds him no closer to a cure
Unless he surrenders to the will of God
He will always remain standing in the rain
