Can I have the honor of signing your name across my heart
Can I announce to world that I've loved you from the very start
Never have I encounter a love so real, can I please take this moment
in time and tell you how I feel.
I tried to fight these feelings for so long
I hid them in the darkest room in my heart's home
but I can't go on without revealing this moment of truth
every since we met I've been so in love with you.
you are the one, this is the love that my heart been searching for,
and I just can't let you slip away, tell me what can I do
to convince your love to stay.
Can I create a memory, and make my dream come true,
Being there for you always, Is all I want to do.
My love is real, but yet it can't be seen,
More beautiful than the Mona Lisa, more vivid as a dream.
Can I enchant you with the gift of true love,
As God bless this union from above.
Can I engrave upon your mind an image of me,
Assault your senses, and love you unconditionally.
I would love to hold you, and always understand,
To give you comfort, with the touch of my hand.
I want to be the cloud that carries the rain,
Being by your side, through the anxieties and pain.
Like slow jazz, I want to caress your mind,
And together serenity we both will find.
Like Patti said if only you knew,
That I truly am in love with you.
You came in when I needed love the most
and your sunshine smile lets me know,
that a love like yours I should never let go..
Can I be the one to kiss you so tenderly in the rain
can I hold you in my arms and embrace your pain
will you kindle a flame of passion with me....
would you do me the honor and love me eternally
