Poetry For Everyday People

Dripping Thoughts

Don't lay down
beneath what hurt you,
you've already past it,

bad memories aren't ice cubes
in our drinks
but a scratch
long past itching,

reluctance
a long overdue
conclusion,

a kiss feels best
stolen, surrendered,
wet with truth,

one good one

lasts
a life time.
