Grief of the Heart

In the moments of grief
a steel heart is preferred
when the warnings of a crying soul
     goes unheard,
And as the tender deer isn't aware...
A wise heart knows a bullet is
flying through the air somewhere,
Seeking destruction with death on its back,
the target is hit...another life falls through the cracks
Thus, cursed is every soul with softness in his reins...
They break up the foundation of his springs,
But pleading eyes can never make a child obey
Oh sorrow, why must you continue to pass my way
when you know well the routes of my reins....?
The beautiful music is gone...I can no longer sing
