Harry Sweeden. My life in verse.

Middle-East

The air that they breathe is on fire
the sky now crimson with blood
the ground that they walk… bodies so silent
yet still they fight on with such lust.
There is no longer a suitable answer
only more questions of pain and distress
governments are failing their people…
while onlookers eat toast and get dressed.
Rockets and bombs keep on raining…
and children are drowning in pain
humanity once kind but now surely blind
…look on cause they're not to blame.
The cameras are there for our viewing
from afar we can watch someone die
then  go back to bed and rest our poor heads
without wanting to understand why?
