The Year of the Living God
I have put before you this year,
Exactly what we have to fear;
Some of it good but mostly bad,
That can make you worry or mad.
You say that you are wanting peace,
But the destruction will not cease;
Guaranteed that there will be more,
Knocking on the deathly dark door.
If your heart starts to turn away,
Shutting your ear while you stray;
Then Satan will make you a slave,
As you are digging your own grave.
Do not be caught up in the strife,
If you truly believe in life;
When you have been of one accord,
And filled with the love for the Lord.
Then worry free throughout these days,
Keeping His laws and live His ways;
So that your life can be increased,
And blest with the upcoming feast.
So I call on Heaven and earth,
As a new year is given birth;
Presenting blessings and a curse,
Expecting in this universe.
