 To Reminisce
The holidays are all but gone
Just like Sunsets a new day dawns
Before my eyes where tears do welt
Of good times once, of feelings felt

Around the room I see some frail
Mother, sisters and those we hail
Close to heart, much closer now
To son and brother, asking GOD how

How could the good we all once lived
Be lived again, all I would give
To see the smiles that followed laughter
To hold unto this happily after

Time passes stealing the stage
Of yesterdays turning the page
Of youth and health where once we were
Reminisce is what in us now stirs

Stirs the dreams of all we hold
Hold and held of all life's toll
Holding tight, much tighter still
Are they so loved, my need and fill

Mother, my heart where strength I drew
I see what once now draws her too
Closer to GOD as time draws near
The best of me, of her quite clear

Sisters, just three of four were there
In them, with them my heart would bare
The need to hold if for awhile
A part of us, brother once child

I pray again in silence mine
To GOD above to give us time
To live whats left, to spend again
All that we have, until the very end

Dedicated to my mother and my sisters
and brother with all my love....
