Here's a tale of a mysterious femme fatale
A lady of beauty who wooed Paris by her charms
She became renowned for her unforgettable dance
Secrets of her exotic life were hidden very well

Accustomed to the good life since she was a child
Her friends were the wealthy and powerful upper class
By her liaisons she was able to cross the enemy lines
Disguised the crafty spy lived dangerous and wild

Her movements attracted attention during WW1
The French captured the spy, code-named H-21
She was put on trial and condemned to death
She accepted her fate which shocked everyone

Indifferently she prepared for her journey above
Each piece of her clothing was chosen with care
She dressed in black stockings with high heel shoes
On her hands she slipped her best leather gloves

Defiantly she stood against a tall wall of dirt
With courage and bravery she held her head high
At the very last moment she refused the blindfold
She welcomed death as an escape from this earth
