Promises of God
Let us go in fear,
Knowing God is near;
So that you not do,
That God forbids you.
For we have His Word,
That we all have heard;
Come into His rest,
What has been professed.
But hearing not good,
If not as we should;
To do what is right,
Pleasing to His sight.
We have the Good News,
That we do not lose;
If faith is within,
And confess all sin.
If we do believe,
Then we do receive;
Salvation for sure,
Living ever more.
For the time draws nigh,
Answers to your why;
Trying to pretend,
As is in the end.
