Father Abraham
A father of many nations
Before him whom that he believed;
But been given affirmations,
Of truly what would be received.
Because God gives life to the dead,
To whom things are not as they were;
Within His Word as it is said,
That some have thought it was a slur.
Who without reason for some hope,
Still in faith continued hoping;
A father of nations in scope,
Patience kept Abraham hoping.
So will another seed someday,
Of one with faith not so feeble;
That would be causing him to stray,
Rather strong to lead his people.
Although in faith not being weak,
Body not physically fit;
But his hope would cause him to seek,
For having of a strong spirit.
He kept giving glory to God,
And never tried to question why;
His adoration to applaud,
Is someone to exemplify.
