The Fear Of The Lord Is The Beginning Of Wisdom…Proverbs 1: 7 Samson was a good and wise king, And he asked for wisdom off God one day, Then he asked for the knowledge to use it well, As he bowed his head and did pray. He wanted to help people, and be fair, And he wanted to do what was right! So he prayed very hard to God each day, To help him to help the peoples plight! God knew he was a good man, He listened to Solomon's prayer from above, So the Lord God gave him all he asked for, It was bestowed on him with the Lord's love. He wanted to rule with his love for God- Bring people to the Lord and instil His word, And guide many on their journey in life, So let the works of God in heaven be unfurled. For this wise man had a caring heart, So kind and good and true… He wanted to bring the message of God, And show the people what they should do! So King Solomon; wise and true- Brought the fear of the Lord to the land, To bring them into knowing salvation forever, As God led them by the hand. He told them what was wrong and right, And both simply and easily he explained, For he made everything understandable, And so knowledge for many was gained! He gave people knowledge to increase learning… And this gave them insight to know, That the Lord God above, with all His love, Was the only road to follow that they should go! For the fear of the Lord is the beginning wisdom, But for those who despise what's right, They will surely go down, straight to hellfire, And so live in the dark of night! Fear the Lord, and accept Him into your heart, And follow God who'll forever reign.
