My View of OZ
The road to Oz is wide
and many
seek it's kingdom
They search
in hope to attain
love,courage and wisdom.
The scarecrow sought
wisdom cause he didn't
have a brain,
there's nothing like
a wise friend
to teach you,
you're the same!
The Tin man's
heart was made of stone
He couldn't feel a thing,
But with a friend like
Dorothy
soon he found that he could sing!
The lion needed
courage to face all of
His fears,
He found fear
was buried by the
shedding of his tears.
Dorothy's only hope was
to return to those she loved,
And though she treasured
Her new friends
it was home she
dreamed of.
The Wizard was a deceiver
like someone else
I know,
someone whose been
around from a very long time ago.
Dorothy reminds me of Christ
who brings out the best in me,
I'm created in God's image
to be the best that I can be.
