It's a total education within it's self
To walk where souls walked so long ago-
And the fact that it is no different now
To view as it was away back then to know-
Only times were ever so much harder then
How souls they struggled every single day-
To even if they could feed their very own
The only gift they had for free was to pray-
It brings one back to a realistic line of thought
To walk just where they walked within their life-
Where trouble was their constant companion
And each day of it brought them yet more strife-
One comes to go back there within ones mind
And even in doing so still cannot imagine so-
Just how hard it was most away back when
Within the times that they then came to know-
Walking along those same slabs of stone
Where so very many had once walked before-
Every single day come what may
To and from a very well known door-
Taking time to stop and think of all
We have today to be thankful for ever so-
Does not do a soul any harm at all
As each day through this life we go-
