The Faithful Exhort
I keep it in my head,
Since I always have hope;
The love from God has fed,
So I can always cope.
His mercy has no limit,
To save from destruction;
Shielded by His Spirit,
From tempting seduction.
Feeling fresh each morning,
Because my faith is great;
As love is adorning,
The patience for to wait.
God is my heritage,
Because I will have hope;
Same from age to age,
Looking at the full scope.
So I will wait for Him,
As yearning in my soul;
Never for feeling grim,
Letting Him take control.
It is good to go on,
With quietly waiting;
For that day at the dawn,
To be jubilating.
