"Moonlit Walking"

Used to be a smile
Where a solitude now lives
My heart still skips a beat
Yet remains empty
With nothing left to give

Shattered remnants of a soul
Put back together with diluted glue
Dreams and aspirations
A heart full of unbridled love
No cracks, to let it seep thru

The shores of sandy beaches
With unchartered familiar places
Valentines sealed, left unopened
A love forsaken
Without any apparent traces

My spirit will not be broken
Though my heart severed in two
Wasted memories and
Distant precious moments
Never a, ‘well yeah I do'

For now I walk my path alone
Learning to listen to my own heart talking
Count the stars dancing across the sky
A spotlight on who I am and meant to be
Gaining wisdoms while moonlit walking
