Give up Swearing
Above all things,
Never try to swear;
A foul mouth brings,
What not to share.
Neither of earth,
Nor by Heaven;
They are not worth,
Breath as given.
Swearing does show,
How immature;
What one does know,
And cannot cure.
It is a sin,
Talking profane;
And sick within,
When you retain.
If you confess,
And show your trust;
The Lord will bless,
For He is just.
But most of all,
Please do not curse;
Or Satan will call,
For to coerce.
